Vicks VapoDrops

Vicks® VapoDrops™ temporarily relieve sore throats or coughs due to colds or inhaled irritants. Vicks VapoDrops contain effective medicine to suppress your impulse to cough as they dissolve to relieve your sore throat. Vicks VapoDrops use Vicks trusted ingredients to soothe your sore throat. VapoDrops are available in two flavors: menthol and cherry.

Temporarily relieves:

  • Sore throat
  • Coughs due to colds or inhaled irritants

Menthol

Adults and children 5 years and olderAllow 2 drops to dissolve slowly in mouth.
Children 2 to 5 yearsAsk a doctor.
Children under 2 yearsDo not use.

Cherry

Adults and children 5 years and olderAllow 3 drops to dissolve slowly in mouth.
Children 2 to 5 yearsAsk a doctor.
Children under 2 yearsDo not use.

For Cough: may be repeated every hour
For Sore Throat: may be repeated every 2 hours

Ask a doctor before use if you have:

  • Cough associated with excessive phlegm (mucus)
  • Persistent or chronic cough such as those caused by asthma, emphysema, or smoking
  • A severe sore throat accompanied by difficulty in breathing or that lasts more than 2 days
  • A sore throat accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, swelling, nausea, or vomiting

Stop use and ask a doctor if:
  • You need to use more than 7 days
  • Cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or headache that lasts

These could be signs of a serious condition.

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Inactive Ingredients
Cherry: Ascorbic acid, citric acid, corn syrup, eucalyptus oil, FD&C Blue No. 1, FD&C Red No. 40, flavor, sucrose

Menthol: Ascorbic acid, caramel, corn syrup, eucalyptus oil, sucrose
